As a young boy, Joep wanted to become a carpenter. However, after studying at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, he ventured into the field of communication. He worked as a freelancer, creating animated films and video productions for various multinational companies, healthcare institutions, educational institutions, and government organizations.

After 15 years, it was time for a new challenge. With his bare hands, an eye for detail, and immense patience, Joep sculpted 'De Stoerderie,' a unique vacation home in the front and oldest part of their square-shaped farmhouse. Together with Mascha and their children, he warmly welcomes you to the farm!
